The roll top opens and closes well, and all the drawers work smoothly.
There are seven drawers: two legal size file drawers, one long, shallow drawer in the center with a pen holder, which has two crayon marks inside, and four smaller drawers. Inside the roll top, there are twelve vertical and horizontal slots and two pen holders.
A desk light plugs into a two-plug (three prong) outlet mounted on the inside upper surface.
Two surfaces pull out on either side for extra writing space.
Very sturdy. No major marks, nicks, or scratches. There are two locks, the key for which has been lost. Luckily, both are unlocked! All drawers, plugs, and light are in working order.
